2010-2017 - In parallel with social and political activities, he worked in several local newspapers as an expert on the Middle East, particularly Turkey

2019-2021 - Мember of the National Assembly as part of the "My Step" parliamentary faction. He chaired the Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sports of the National Assembly, and was also the head of the Armenian delegation at the "Euronest" Parliamentary Assembly.
