Lilit Makunts meets with UN Resident Coordinator Francoise Jacob
Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Lilit Makunts met with UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Francoise Jacob.
Lilit Makunts highly appreciated the role of the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in coordinating UN activities in Armenia and implementing programs in line with the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The meeting discussed current cooperation and future steps in the areas of community development, socio-economic integration of displaced persons, as well as environmental protection and water resources management.
The parties attached importance to the high-level organization and holding of the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to be held in Armenia, emphasizing the fact of close bilateral cooperation.
