Discussion on the preparatory work for the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Youth Championship took place
A discussion on the preparatory work for the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Youth Championship took place today under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan. The discussion was attended by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan, Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan, as well as representatives of other bodies and organizations involved in the work.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan highlighted the proper preparation of the Republic of Armenia for the 2029 FIFA U-20 World Youth Championship, emphasizing the importance of providing the necessary infrastructure for it in a timely manner and in accordance with the established standards.
An international design company presented the proposed design solutions for the Vanadzor and Ijevan stadiums, the schedule for the implementation of the work, as well as other key issues from the perspective of the preparatory works. Based on the discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister gave relevant instructions.
