The government will ensure the normal course of the major renovation of roads leading to cluster schools: 186 million drams allocated
Today, the regular Cabinet meeting was held, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The government adopted a decision due to the need to ensure the normal course of the major renovation of roads leading to cluster schools. As noted by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Ghalechyan, the decision provides for the redistribution of about 186 million drams from the funds approved by the Government for the major renovation/average renovation of roads. The total length of the major renovation roads provided for by the decision is 10.3 km, of which 8.97 km are design works and 1.33 km are major renovation.
The 22nd “Eurovision Young Musicians” contest will be held in Armenia on June 6. This was reported by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, presenting the Government's decision on this. The Minister informed that 665 million drams are planned to be allocated for this purpose. "This is a very interesting format, which is being implemented with the joint efforts of the Public Television of Armenia and the European Broadcasting Union and will provide an opportunity to once again position our country on the international stage, especially in the direction of classical art, which, we believe, is of particular importance," said Zhanna Andreasyan, noting that Armenia's participant this year will be 15-year-old flutist Elen Virabyan. She is already very well-known and has performed with prestigious orchestras.
The government has established a list of international standards applicable in the field of cybersecurity. According to the substantiation, in recent years, along with the growth in the use of information and digital infrastructures in the Republic of Armenia, cyber threats have significantly increased. The main goal of the decision is to establish clear international standards for critical information infrastructures, cybersecurity service providers and cybersecurity auditors operating in the vital sector, which the latter are obliged to meet. It includes a list of applicable international standards, application guidelines, as well as the scope of application. As a result, the implementation of international standards in the field of cybersecurity in the legal environment of the Republic of Armenia is expected, as well as the establishment of clear, unified and predictable regulations for the activities of critical information infrastructures, cybersecurity service providers and cybersecurity auditors operating in the vital sector.
The Government adopted a decision to improve the Sheep and Goat Breeding Development Program for 2024-2028. The adoption of the decision is conditioned by the need to promote the development of the sector, increase the effectiveness of state support programs, and ensure the application of a unified animal registration system. The adoption of the decision will make it possible to expand the circle of beneficiaries engaged in sheep and goat breeding, increase the opportunities for beneficiaries to acquire more livestock with state support, which will contribute to increasing the proportion of pedigree animals and the volume of sheep and goat production. Accordingly, it is proposed to increase the maximum number of pedigree animals to be acquired from 300 to 1,000.
