Issues related to the holding of the eighth Pan-Armenian Summer Games and organizational work were discussed at the meeting.

In his welcoming speech, Arayik Harutyunyan said, "You know that in 2019, the Government supported the organization of the Pan-Armenian Games to the maximum extent and now it is ready to do it with redoubled zeal. Our goal is that every Pan-Armenian Games are better and of better quality compared to the previous ones. To that end, the members of the Government and the staff of the Prime Minister will do everything in close cooperation to solve all the problems, to communicate with our partners, to move forward."

You know that the Government has invested quite a lot in sports infrastructure. Other halls that have been involved in the past will also be used during the games."

"I want to say that we are focused on work and we are not going to deviate from this work even in the most difficult moments, because our opponents, enemies, competitors aim to divert us from the path of our development. The Pan-Armenian Games should be the best indicator and event that will show our unity and that we will organize all the directions of development that we have and the events that we have planned, despite all the difficulties."

Arayik Harutyunyan noted that next year, on April 15-23, the European Heavyweight Championship will be held in Yerevan.

"We would like our Diaspora partners to help us bring our sports fans to Armenia. I am sure that representatives of European countries will participate, and if our Diaspora Armenians come and actively participate, it will be quite attractive, and the competitions will be more interesting," said Arayik Harutyunyan.
