      <title><![CDATA[Armenia Youth Foundation Board Of Trustees Holds Meeting]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Board of Trustees of Armenia&rsquo;s Youth Foundation (AYF) met at the Office of Government.

First, the meeting reviewed the auditor&rsquo;s findings concerning the Foundation&rsquo;s financial statements for 2011. The council next approved the Foundation&rsquo;s annual report for 2011, according to which 183 youth programs and activities were carried out last year as compared to 69 events implemented in 2010.

      <title><![CDATA[Bill On Use Of Genetically Modified Organisms Discussed]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, a consultation was held in the Office of Government concerning the draft law of the Republic of Armenia on the use of genetically modified organisms (GMO). Following an in-depth discussion, the meeting participants suggested amending the bill.
Summing up the meeting, the Prime Minister said, &ldquo;The law should contain strict rules in line with the international standards to prevent GMOs from being imported into the Republic of Armenia. Talks are underway with the World Bank for credit a facility of USD 8-10mn to finance the construction of a new medical complex.
