      <title><![CDATA[Government Set To Support Hailstorm-Hit Farmers]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, a consultation was held in the Office of Government to discuss the situation associated with the recent hailstorm.

Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan reported that the hailstorm has affected 43 communities covering an area of 17,000 hectares. Community-based committees are currently estimating the extent of the damage.
According to the Minister, vineyards and to some extent fruit gardens have suffered most of all.       <title><![CDATA[Tigran Sargsyan Introduced To Brandy, Wine Producer&rsquo;s Investment Programs ]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[Prime Sargsann Tigran Sargsyan visited today &ldquo;Shahnazaryan Ltd&rdquo; Wine and Brandy House in Yeghvard town of Kotayk Marz to get acquainted with company operations and investment programs.

Founded in 2009, the Company produces &ldquo;Shahnazaryan&rdquo; and &ldquo;Pearl of Armenia&rdquo; 3 to 7 year-old Armenian brandies and brandy spirit using local raw materials. Most of its output is exported toward the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

      <title><![CDATA[Tigran Sargsyan Briefed On Food Processing Company&rsquo;s Investment Programs]]></title>
      <description><![CDATA[&nbsp;Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited flour, confectionery, wine and brandy producer MANCHO Group Company. The head of government toured the premises getting acquainted the manufacturing processes and investment programs.

As of 2012, the company had invested USD12mn in the production of flour and confectionery, with USD15mn invested in the manufacture of wine, brandy and fruit vodka. They are expected to invest USD8mn for the construction of a cold-storage facility and a canning factory.
By the end of 2013, 100 new jobs will be added to those 172 available now.
