Republic of Armenia Police
 
 

The RoA Police is a body that operates within the system of the authorized entity for public administration in internal affairs, which is called to protect human life and health, as well as other rights and freedoms, property, and the interests of society and the state from criminal and other unlawful encroachments. The Republic of Armenia Police has the right to use compulsion within the boundaries prescribed by law. The police organizes the operational-intelligence and forensic-criminological activities of internal affairs bodies in the Republic, and directly supervises the investigative units of internal affairs bodies in accordance with the RoA legislation.
