Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s condolence message on demise of Albert Mkrtchyan

I was saddened to learn about the demise of renowned film director Albert Mkrtchyan.

Albert Mkrtchyan was a unique professional who devoted all his life to cinema, giving birth to unforgettable films which, besides being loved by our people, brought up many generations.

His well-known “Old Days’ Song” and “Our Childhood Tango” are among the best works of Armenian cinematographic art and topical at any time.

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express deepest condolences to Albert Mkrtchyan’s family and friends, as well as to all fans of Armenian cinema.
