Dear Teachers,
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I am congratulating you on this nice holiday - the Teacher’s Day.
Everybody loves this day. The Armenian people have always appreciated our teachers’ dedicated work and commitment to their noble vocation.
Through selfless effort, you have always been a stronghold to the homeland even at critical moments and helped strengthen the Armenian statehood. This is evidenced by our nation’s ancient history; even when we lost our statehood, our teachers continued to educate the rising generations having in mind the noble idea of reinstated sovereignty.
By overcoming many hardships, you went a long way toward building a newly independent State. All our achievements are due to your endeavors aimed at educating the new generations in the spirit of all-out devotion to the motherland.
Dear teachers,
Education has always needed the State’s backing. Cognizant of this, the Government of the Republic of Armenia is promoting and will continue to promote the educational system, mindful of the need to have a knowledge-based society and a competitive economy in the modern world. This is in our national interest. You may rest assured that the Government will step up its effort in support of this process by providing more tangible and visible assistance.
Reiterating my congratulations, I wish you happiness and boundless energy all the way through your patriotic mission.
