Dear Railroaders,
I warmly congratulate you on your professional holiday – Railroader Day.
First of all, I wish to thank you all for valuable effort exercised over the past most complicated year.
Railroad has always been looked upon as the key driving force behind any State’s social and economic progress. This is especially relevant to our country as strong with over a century-long history, Armenian railway continues to be a major logistical and economic infrastructure providing for our nation’s lifeline activities.
Everybody knows that the Armenian railroad has experienced significant transformations over the last few decades. Today as well, there are numerous threats and challenges facing us which call for prompt and comprehensive response.
Our task is to keep on modernizing Armenia’s railroad network so that service quality could be brought up to international standards. This will necessitate strong will, consistency, as well as many efforts and resources.
In its capacity of trust manager, South Caucasian Railway CJSC has assumed the important mission of railroad refurbishment.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia expects that the Company will boast further success on the way to developing railway infrastructures, enhancing traffic safety and expanding its geographic coverage.
This objective can only be achieved by introducing new technologies and ensuring affordable and high-quality services. We are convinced that the task calls for continued and efficacious effort.
