Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan introduced newly elected SCPEC Chairman


On April 23, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan introduced newly elected SCPEC Chairman Gegham Gevorgyan to the members and staff of the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia.

Congratulating the newly elected SCPEC chairman and wishing him every success in his future activities, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the government’s political will to create a free competitive economic environment and noted that the Commission should play a key role in this task.

He said the government will support the steps aimed at shaping an independent and impartial structure.

Thankful for the confidence, Gegham Gevorgyan assured that the Commission will make every effort to forge a free and competitive market in Armenia. In conclusion, outgoing SCPEC Chairman Artak Shaboyan thanked the members and the staff of the Commission for effectve cooperation.
