Government-civil society discussions held on draft roadmap for CEPA implementation

On April 5 and April 18, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted government-civil society discussions on the roadmap for implementing the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The discussions in this format will be continued.

The discussions held on April 5 related to CEPA Part 6, referred to as Trade and Trade-Related Issues, while the April 18 discussion addressed the roadmap for implementation of Part 5, referred to as Transport and Energy.

To begin with, the government representatives summed up the activities included in the roadmap, after which civil society representatives voiced their concerns about the draft. Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to hold discussions in this format on a regular basis.
