Issues of improving the activities of condominiums were discussed during a consultation held with Acting Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan.

The meeting discussed tinistry of Justice-developed draft laws on amending the RA law “On Multi-Apartment Buildings Management” and on calling off the RA law “On condominium.” The proposed amendments streamline the stakeholders’ responsibilities in the management of multi-apartment buildings, set professional management standards, as well as administrative sanctions and civil remedies for non-compliance. The bills were developed account taken of the international experience.

Several proposals and recommendations were made during the exchange of opinions that followed. Karen Karapetyan instructed those responsible to finalize the bills based on the proposals voiced at the meeting and put the updated versions into circulation.
