Center for Strategic Initiatives Presents 2017 Annual Activity Report



 

Chaired by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, the Board of Trustees of the Center for Strategic Initiatives (CSI) Foundation held a meeting in the CSI Office. The meeting reviewed the Center’s annual report on the activities carried out in 2017 and discussed the action plan for 2018.

 

CSI Executive Director Aleksandr Khachaturyan reported back on the ongoing activities in the fields of public administration, tax and customs administration, tourism, education, information and high technologies as well as agriculture.

During the exchange of views that followed, the Board of Trustees discussed issues related to the programs initiated in these areas, the interim results, as well as issues related to cooperation with public agencies. Suggestions and recommendations were formulated on further actions. The Board took note of the 2017 CSI performance report.

Prime Minister Karapetyan assessed the CSI’s nearly one-year-long activity as quite effective. The Premier thanked the private sector representatives for active cooperation, stressing that efforts will have to be stepped up in 2018.
