Karen Karapetyan Receives Philips Lighting Company Vice President Eric Benedetti
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received a delegation led by Eric Benedetti, Vice President of Philips Lighting.
Stressing the importance of close cooperation with Philips Lighting in terms of implementing innovative programs, the Prime Minister noted that the Armenian government has developed many exciting programs that can be implemented jointly.
Eric Benedetti pointed out that in its capacity of a leader in the field of innovations, Philips Lighting is dedicated to the production of modern, energy-efficient high-quality lamps and added that his company is prepared to discuss the possibility of expanding cooperation with Armenia.
Karen Karapetyan suggested discussing the target areas of cooperation with the RA Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies in order to develop a program of follow-up actions.
The parties looked at the possibility of establishing a production facility by Philips Lighting in Armenia and, in this context, the Government’s support toolkits.
