PM Receives Nairit Staff

As promised, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan once again received a group of employees from Yerevan Nairit Plant.

The meeting discussed the possibility of re-commissioning the plant and the steps to take in this direction. It was noted that the problems of Nairit should be addressed exclusively in the framework of the law and the Executive is ready to use every opportunity to re-commission it.

World Bank experts will conduct a study in Nairit to provide their findings on the possibility of reopening the plant expectedly during the first quarter of next year.

At the same time, steps were said to have been taken to make available another month’s salary in January. To remind, they were paid the salary for one month in November; the same amount will be paid in December.
