1972-1986 - chief engineer, director general of “Artashat Cannery” State Farm
1986-1996 - director of Azat full-system trout facility
1996-2011 - president, director general of “Artashat Cannery” OJSC
As of December 31, 2010, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia appointed in line with Republic of Armenia President’s decree
On June 16, 2012, re-appointed to the post of Minister of Agriculture.
A presidential decree was issued on May 8, 2013 to re-appoint him to Minister of Agriculture.
